Why is Emotional Health Important?
Many doctors now recognize the possibility that several diseases are caused by emotional problems that link back to infancy and even to the womb. These emotional traumas compromise our immune system and genetic structuring; therefore, staying emotionally healthy is imperative. At Plasticity, we utilize different modalities and non-invasive therapies incorporating essential oils, flower essences, and technology; we focus on emotional health to help improve and make better choices to improve the psychological conditions of the body.
Why Plasticity?
We can easily be molded and break habitual and emotional patterns. Are you repeating your family’s problems? Have you tried many programs, felt great for a while, then a trigger makes you repeat what you thought you had let go of already? Our innovative techniques can help you retrain your thought pattern to change the perception that frees you from triggering beliefs.
How does it work?
The human brain has the unique ability to reorganize itself by forming new connections between brain cells (neurons). We can use the brain’s ability to reshape itself to our advantage at any age and use that neuroplasticity to help us improve emotionally, mentally, and overall physical wellness. Plasticity refers to the brain’s ability to CHANGE throughout our life.
Our brain is wired differently for the five senses; we see, hear, taste, and touch-based upon connections to the FRONTAL LOBE of the brain (the “thinking” or rational part). However, the sense of smell is connected to the LIMBIC SYSTEM – the brain's EMOTIONAL center. Therefore, highly fragrant essential oils profoundly affect the brain and emotions. Although it is not clear how they work, we know that because of the complex chemistry of essential oils, they act as chemical messengers in the body and act as neurotransmitters and hormones, positively influencing mental, emotional, and physical health.
